“Michelle, this is your office. It’s very close to the CEO, so it’s more convenient for you to get things done. “ Under the direction of Scott’s assistant, Michelle arrived at a small office opposite the CEO’s desk. The assistant left with a smile after giving her orders. She looked around. She had thought she had to prepare something, but it turned out that everything was in front of her with all kinds of equipment!
In particular, the little potted plant, the cacti on her desk were something Scott’s assistant did. She lowered her bag, pulled out the desk chair and was ready to sit down. She thought there was nothing to do on the first day of work, but unexpectedly, someone opened the door to the Secretary’s office the next second.
It was the assistant standing in front of the door, but when he saw the documents in her arms, he was scared again! Before she could say anything, the assistant said with a smile, “Finish reading these documents before noon and hand them to the President before lunch.”
“This is too much!”
She started to work, but her boss arranged a lot of things for her, which made her feel she didn’t need to rest at all. Plus, she was only in the trial period, so there were a lot of tasks she had to manage. She might not be able to keep it up.
Three months? If it only took three months to deliver that many documents every day, it would collapse in three days. She sighed helplessly, “Looks like I’ll have to work overtime today.”
Before leaving, the assistant looked at her sympathetically and said nothing. After the door closed, she picked up the documents again and began to go through them. They were acquisition cases, which wasn’t difficult for her.
He quickly looked at the documents and signed them in the wrong place with a red pen. His seriousness was noted by the person on the other side. Scott leaned back lazily in his chair, ballpoint pen spinning in his fingertips and distracted.
The woman who almost hit him that night kept running through his mind. I still remembered my embarrassment at the time. “President, there’s a half-hour meeting you need to attend.”
The office door opened and his thoughts were interrupted as well. “Yeah.”
After a simple word, Scott rose from his chair, gathered the documents on the table and left. It was almost noon, but the documents on the table weren’t finished yet. As Michelle stretched, she heard the sound of leather shoes in the hallway.
The floor was high-quality marble, making it much crisper than ordinary ceramic tiles. And there were only three people in the building. As the voice got closer and closer to her, her heart almost skipped a beat!
She swallowed and unconsciously held the back of the chair, as if trying to suppress her emotions. Finally, the voice disappeared into the front office. She was relieved.
But soon a storm came. The assistant opened the door and poked his head out. He was very sly.
“Michelle, have you processed all the documents?”
“Oh, I’m fine … ”
Michelle looked at the piles of documents she hadn’t finished yet. In Michelle’s eyes, Scott was definitely a heartless leader, and he was very sassy about getting things done. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have sorted out so many things on his first day on the job.
But after thinking about it for a moment, Michelle decided to take the documents she’d been dealing with and leave. After all, time was very short and he only had a morning to finish all the work. It was impossible for him to do it.
If you didn’t want to earn money to support your family, you also wanted to live a carefree life like those rich, wealthy second-generation women. “Oh, the president’s gone. I came to ask you to lunch. You’re new here and don’t know much about the company, so I want to get you acquainted. “ Only when he heard the assistant’s words did he breathe a sigh of relief. But this was the first time he’d met other people in the company.
What would she say if people from the company saw her following the assistant? “Good.”
After all, he’d been here before her. It would be rude if she rejected him. The staff canteen was on the third floor of the company.
After the assistant, it was the first time Michelle had seen the restaurant of a large company. She thought it would be just like it was when they were at school, holding the plate in line and waiting for Auntie to pick up the food. But now, the situation was completely different from what she had imagined.
It was a menu famous for Chinese and Western cuisine, as well as desserts. When they entered the restaurant, there was a long table covered with Chinese dishes. “I must say, big business restaurants are really different from other cities.”
She sighed, her eyes filled with disbelief. “Yeah The same reaction as yours when I came to work here. “ The assistant looked at her and handed her a white porcelain plate. Michelle looked flattered. “Thank you.” When they were dining, she felt several people staring at her, making her uncomfortable.
The sumptuous food was tasteless. Now all he wanted was to leave. After lunch, led by her assistant, Michelle got a general idea of the company as a whole.
But since I was only the CEO’s secretary, I didn’t have to go to any other floors. Half past two in the afternoon. Sitting at the desk, Michelle continued working.
A few hours later, the words in the documents were gradually erased. His head ached and he frowned. “Oh, when is this going to stop?”
After sitting at the computer for three hours, Melisa closed the last file and stretched. She raised the mug on the table and was ready for a drink of water. After all, she’d been busy all afternoon and had a dry mouth.
Strangely, she didn’t see a water source in the hallway. I wanted to ask the assistant where there was water to drink. As he walked to the door of the assistant’s office, the clear glass showed that no one was inside.
It was 5:40 in the afternoon. Logically, it shouldn’t be out of order now. Shrugging his shoulders, he abandoned the idea and headed for his office.
It was time to hand the files to your boss on the desk. “CEO … … “ Opening the door to the president’s office, he discovered that no one was there. He looked around to make sure no one was there before heading for Scott’s desk. Then, carefully, he placed the documents in his arms. Half past seven.
Michelle had been waiting at the office for a long time because she didn’t dare leave without permission. She was afraid of being treated like an absentee. It wasn’t until 7 p.m. that noise came from the 23rd floor corridor.
She ran off as if she’d caught a life straw. To her surprise, the assistant was packing up in his office. Apparently, when he saw Michelle, the assistant was surprised.
“Why haven’t you left yet? Work time is over. “He looked at his watch. Michelle lowered her head, unsure how to explain. “You don’t really need to be nervous.
You can leave immediately after work. You’re free to work in the company, except to work with the president. “Later, she learned that the assistant had been with Scott all afternoon and that they had been in the meeting room until now. Evidently, Scott had already left the company. “It’s dark now.
Let me take you home. ”
The assistant was so excited that Michelle rejected him without hesitation. Seeing that she didn’t want to, the assistant didn’t force her. He smiled awkwardly, then left.
The bus station near the company was quite far. It took him at least twenty minutes to walk. It was dark outside when Michelle left the company.
Just as she was about to leave, she heard a noise coming from her bag. I didn’t need to think and I knew who was calling. “Mother, I’ll be home soon. Don’t worry about me”.
He picked up the phone and brought it to her ear. After saying that, she hung up. She knew her mother was waiting for her.
Then he quickly headed for the bus station. He thought there would be fewer people at the bus station, but this exceeded his expectations. A few minutes later, a bus finally appeared in front of them.
But the crowd wouldn’t stop until the door could be closed. Unfortunately, she failed. She tilted her head and looked into the distance.
The colored lights made the darkness of the city a little desolate. In the distance, a white Audi car parked quietly on the side of the road. When the car door opened, a tall, strong man stepped out and walked toward her.
“Michelle,”
Wyn said, stopping behind her. Michelle, who had been concentrating on waiting for the bus, suddenly heard the voice she knew so well. She looked surprised.
Without turning around, Michelle stepped forward. Suddenly, she was disgusted there. The next second, Wyn grabbed her wrist and a beautiful face appeared.
It was the first time she’d looked at him like that after her marriage. Her eyes were completely strange. “I’m sorry, sir. We don’t know each other. There was no emotion in her words, but Wyn was excited.
“Michelle, don’t be so unforgiving with me …”
“Sir, I don’t know what you’re doing. If you were arguing with your wife, you should find her now instead of bullying an insignificant person here. Please let me go. “Michelle cut him off coldly. She frowned and was visibly impatient.
It took him a long time to finally come out of the betrayal. Originally, he thought the two would have no intersection in the future, but they met anyway. She didn’t know if he was following her or not.
I just knew I didn’t want to see him now, and I’d never do that. Looking at her with anguish, he said, “I know you hate me and you can’t forgive me. But I can’t let you look at me like that. “ Losing her patience completely, Michelle shook his hand and said coldly, “Scott, I hope you can understand now that you’re married.” Besides, your feelings for each other in the past have been destroyed by you personally. “ A cab pulled up alongside Wyn and Michelle. Michelle stepped forward, opened the door and got in.
It wasn’t until the car drove away that Wyn, frightened and stunned, came to. He stared at the cab until it was out of sight. Quartier du bonheur.
It was 8 o’clock in the evening. Michelle took the key out of her bag and was about to open the door when it swung open. Her mother, Olivia, had a face in sight.
Michelle, what took you so long? Did something happen to you on the way home? Olivia opened the door, holding Michelle’s cold hand and feeling distressed.
“I’m fine. Maybe it’s because I’ve been waiting a long time for the bus. “ “If you can’t wait for the bus, you can take a cab. People are more important than anything else. “Even though Olivia blamed Michelle, she still left the kitchen with the hot dishes in her hands. “Mother, you don’t have to expect me in the future.
My work isn’t exact. Maybe one day I’ll work overtime at the company. ”
Michelle felt her heart ache for her mother. Although Olivia had promised her, she knew her mother well and would never do it. Michelle was tired after working all day.
He lay directly on the bed after taking a hot bath. The wind blew away a corner of the curtain and the world could be seen through the window. The silence of the night was like his heart right now.
He still remembered what had just happened. He admitted he’d almost lost his temper the moment he’d seen Wyn. She turned, tears streaming down her face, and moistened the light-blue towel.
In the emotional world, he who falls in love first would lose. Since Michelle didn’t know how to love, she stumbled and hurt herself all the way. At eight in the morning, Michelle appeared on time in front of the bus stop across the street.
He boarded the bus for his business. Although he was full on the bus, his heart was very calm. This was the life of ordinary people.
She didn’t know when her life would end, but this was just the beginning. It was rush hour on the street. When she had just walked up to the company entrance, Michelle stood there with a strong urge to fight. 23rd floor When the elevator door opened, Michelle stepped out in her two-inch heels.
The assistant’s desk was very close to the elevator. Because it was made of glass, I could clearly see what was going on inside. Clearly, the assistant hadn’t arrived yet.
“Actually, it’s nice to be the president’s secretary. The salary is high and she has her own independent space. But the next second, he rejected her idea. A seductive cry came from the silent hallway. As an adult, Michelle knew what was going on.
But he couldn’t help stepping toward the voice. She saw that the door to the CEO’s office wasn’t closed. There was a woman screaming inside.
She suddenly felt disgusted, but she still wanted to know the truth. A pair of black heels, a black lace bra and women’s clothes were strewn across the floor, mixed in with men’s pants and shirts. Michelle straightened up immediately.
Her face was flushed. Before she could be found, Michelle ran to the front office without saying a word. Leaning against the door, she was so nervous she couldn’t even breathe deeply.
Michelle straightened up immediately. Her face was flushed. Before being found, Michelle ran to the front office without saying a word.
Leaning against the door, she was so nervous she couldn’t even breathe deeply. A trace of mockery appeared in Scott’s eyes as he watched the figure hurry away. Then he slowly closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment.
Michelle didn’t know how long it had taken him to calm down. Just then, the door to the CEO’s office opened. A seductive voice came from behind the door.
“Scott, I miss you.”
As the woman’s high heels faded, Michelle picked up the documents from the table and was about to hand them to her boss. Standing in front of the president’s desk, Michelle felt her breath pounding, “President, the documents you want are ready.”
Finally, she knocked on the door and slowly opened it after the man inside gave the order. Sitting back in his chair, Scott looked at her mischievously. Michelle approached carefully and put the document on the table.
Everything went perfectly. Just as she was about to turn and leave, she heard a cold voice behind her. She was so scared she didn’t dare move.
“How was the game?”
Michelle knew she was going to die a miserable death. Was she so unlucky to have an accident like that? She turned and forced a smile, but it was worse than crying.
And she pretended she didn’t know anything. “Scott, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
As soon as he’d finished his words, Scott rose from his chair and walked step by step toward her. At that moment, Michelle felt her breathing almost stop. She held her breath and consoled herself, “Don’t panic. Everything’s fine.”
When she looked up, she saw Scott standing in front of her. Hot breath sprayed her face. Michelle wanted to escape, but was caught by his powerful hand.
She was unable to move at all. “Sorry Scott for watching such a vivid scene.”
Although he did his best to remain calm, his voice still sounded a little strained. Scott grinned grimly and said, “Lively. Now that’s a good word! His tall body was taller than Michelle. Scott’s lips lifted slightly to form a mischievous smile.
The office was still filled with his sweet smell, which made Michelle’s stomach churn. She tried to contain her anger so as not to spit it out in front of Scott. But the more she tried to vomit, the sicker she felt.
When Scott saw her disgusted expression, he was in a bad mood and felt he was laughing at her. Before she could react, he held her face, leaned over and kissed her lips.
